On the 11th of December 2018, the Advisory Board Meeting of the 10th edition of the AI & Big Data Congress took place. During the upcoming season, the Congress will be partnered with the Innovative Manufacturing Forum. IndustryTech, thanks to more emphasis than in previous editions, the debates will touch on topics such as the connection of Artificial Intelligence with industry.

The direction which will be taken during the spring agenda of the AI & Big Data Congress was supervised by Tomasz Motyl, Chairman of the Advisory Board, along with key experts from the field of modern innovation implementations in business. Thanks to the substantive, living discussion, a few topics were chosen to be a part of the upcoming congress. The Polish National Cloud is definitely one of the projects which shouldn’t be forgotten. The remote processing of data and running of services is the future and will be the topic of not just one debate of the AI & Big Data Congress. The field for discussion also includes the definition of competences which are a must-have to hold positions responsible for the implementation of solutions using AI. After their definition, it should still be decided where to find such people. Are Higher Education Institutions the answer to this question? Trends and the vision of the far future are also obligatory points of the event’s agenda which leans on the effects of business automation. It creates a platform for bold hypotheses about collecting information about citizens, the dilemma of humanocentrism vs. the laws of artificial intelligence or the issue of ethics associated with the personality of AI. In addition to the futuristic considerations, there will also be examples of already existing modern solutions, including: using AI to recruit employees, to assess the damage of a vehicle or detect traffic jams on roads. The AI & Big Data Congress is also a space for startups, which, through presentations of their projects, indicate the direction in which the market is turning. One of them is definitely marketing. By taking more and more advantage of the help of technological companies, it is changing the thinking about contemporary advertising, which is becoming an increasingly modern, personalised method of communication.

The round tables sessions have become a huge success, being implemented into the autumn agenda of the AI & Big Data Congress. It was decided by the participants of the previous edition as well as the members of the Advisory Board that the substantive conversations at the round tables will be continued in spring. Which topics will be discussed at these tables? This and many more important topics will be in the agenda of the 10th edition of the AI & Big Data Congress, which will shortly be presented in full.
